Bringing my daughter to WDW for 6th birthday in July. Only visiting MK. Biggest concern is getting to MK QUICKLY AND QUIETLY. She has sensory disorder as well so time and noise level are BIG concern. Rental car or disney transport system? THANK YOU!

I've been thinking about all of your options.

One of them that would work well is to take a taxi to the Contemporary Resort and then walk to the entrance of the Magic Kingdom. This would be your quickest and quietest route.

If you wanted to save money on the taxi and have more than one adult in your party, you could drive your rental car and be dropped off at the Contemporary Resort. You and your little princess could then walk to the Magic Kingdom entrance while the driver goes to park at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC).

If you park at the TTC, you have 2 choices for transportation to the Magic Kingdom. Monorail or Ferry boat. If you take the Magic Kingdom monorail, you'll only be on the monorail for a few minutes as it goes directly to the Magic Kingdom (the Resort monorail services the monorail resorts as well as the Magic Kingdom). I would travel there prior to park opening to avoid a noisy crowd. I would also depart the Magic Kingdom earlier or later than the park closing crowd. Note that parking at the TTC may also require riding a parking lot tram to the TTC entrance.

If you are staying at a Disney resort that offers bus service to the Magic Kingdom, I would avoid this mode of transportation due to the noise level.

I hope your daughter has a wonderful birthday!
