Bringing my daughter *she'll be 7 at the time* to Disney for the first time. She loves princesses, The Descendants, Mickey & Minnie. What character dining experiences would you recommend?

    Hi Charissa,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Welcome to your princess and hooray for her first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!

Our girls' favorite princess character meals have been at Cinderella's Royal Table, Akershus Royal Banquet Hall and Cinderella's Happily Ever After Dinner at 1900 Park Fare. At Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, we prefer doing a pre-park opening dining reservation at 8:00 a.m. There is nothing quite like walking with royalty through an almost empty park. It feels simply magical. Cinderella's Happily Ever After Dinner is also fun. The characters are hilarious!

Other character meals that our girls enjoy include Chef Mickey's and Tusker House Restaurant. The Crystal PalaceHollywood & Vine and 'Ohana (for breakfast) are also cute also but your daughter may not want to meet those characters. Remember to get an autograph book with a larger pen (easier for some characters to grip). If you purchase Memory Maker, you will have access to the PhotoPass photos that come with certain dining experiences. We have adored our PhotoPass photos from 1900 Park Fare, Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, Cinderella's Royal Table and Chef Mickey's.

Charissa, remember to bring her royal attire - dress, tiara, and shoes. After all, when dining with royalty, one should dress as royalty!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
