Hi! We are bringing my 2yo daughter next year to Disney world and she will turn 3 whilst we are there. Do I need to buy a ticket for the days she is 3? Thank you

    Hi Lois!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Walt Disney World Resort is the perfect place to celebrate a birthday so I'm sure your little princess will have a fantastic birthday celebration at the most magical place on Earth! Be sure to pick up a complimentary birthday celebration button for her so Cast Members and other Guests can join in the party.

Guests don't age during a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, meaning that your daughter's age at the start of your trip will be the age used for your entire trip. So since she will be 2 years old at the start of your trip, she will be considered under 3 years old for your entire trip and will receive complimentary admission to the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks and water parks during your vacation. You will not need to purchase theme park tickets for her for the days when she will be 3 years old. Even thought she won't age for ticketing purposes, you will still be able to make the most of your celebration with a birthday cake, special birthday dining experience or simply an amazing vacation day!

Please let us know if you have any other questions as you continue planning your vacation with your little one. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
