Hi Andrea,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question.
You’ve already got some great dining choices lined up for your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort. Some other restaurants that I would recommend would be:
California Grill - Yes, it’s a deluxe, “fancy” restaurant, but I’ve brought my son there twice, once when he was 13 months old and another time when he was almost 2 and we haven’t had any problems. In fact, that’s where he tried sushi for the first time (and LOVED it).
The Garden Grill - The food is plentiful and tasty and some of the best character interaction we’ve ever had at a character dining location!
Whispering Canyon Cafe - Although you may not be dining with Disney characters, believe me when I say that your server will be quite the character! Plus, the Family Platter (available at dinner) includes some mighty tasty cowboy vittles.
50’s Prime Time Café - We love this place - it’s just so unique and fun! “Mom’s” cooking up a storm in the back and your “cousins” are your servers. We usually start each visit to Walt Disney World with dinner here.
I’ll stop there, although I could go on and on with other recommendations, especially if you and your family are more adventurous eaters. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
