Howdy, Laurie! Thanks for saddling up and riding on over to see us again here at planDisney!
There are more activities at
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground than you can shake a
bow and arrow at, and I'm so glad you've decided to try some of them. My son did the
pony rides when he was little, so I guess it's about time we graduate to
the big horses!
It looks like you've already made reservations for your activities, which is great! My suggestion is to call the same number you probably used to make those reservations, 407-WDW-PLAY, to find out exactly what you'll need for your daughter's friends to enjoy the great outdoors with you at "the Fort."
Laurie, after a long day on the trail, you'll want a heaping helping of delicious grub, and
Trail's End Restaurant is just the place! It's a short walk from the horse barns of
Tri-Circle-D Ranch and it's open daily for breakfast and dinner, so you can dig into an all-you-care-to-enjoy feast before or after your ride. Trail's End is one of my family's favorite hidden gems, and I just know your crew will love it, too!
I hope this helps you have a great time exploring the wilderness, Laurie. Be sure to mosey on by again if you have any more questions!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
