Bringing a dance team to the USA in 2018, April or May, and want to avoid spring break and any other major events cheerleading etc in Disney World so we can travel when crowds are lower. Could anyone help out with details of events? Thank you!

    Greetings fellow Lauren!

It's wonderful to hear you are planning a Walt Disney World Resort team vacation! I'm thrilled you've stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel and excited to help you decide when may be the most optimal time to visit.

April tends to be a fairly busy month due to Spring Breaks, Easter and events like the Star Wars Half Marathon - The Dark Side. The last week in April crowds tend to thin out a little through about the first two weeks of May. Depending on how long you plan on visiting, I would recommend somewhere in that time frame to hopefully find the most manageable crowds based on historical predictions. Obviously, there is no way to know for sure just how crowded the parks will be, but this tends to be the pattern.

Please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with when planning your special trip and thank you again for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm Lauren, a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family and friends. From graduations to birthdays, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon we’ve loved celebrating at the most Magical Place on Earth. I now have pre-teens who check wait times in the My Disney Experience App just for fun, so I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help you plan a little extra Pixie Dust for your next magical adventure.
