Hello, we are bringing our 2 children with the Mockingbird single person stroller. We are getting mixed answers if the mockingbird riding board is allowed in the Disneyland parks. Some say no problem going in and some say no it’s not allowed. Please advise

Hey there, hi there, Angela! We are so happy to have you stop by planDisney with your question for us.

I hope you are getting so excited to experience the holidays with your family at Disneyland Resort really soon! Strollers are an important piece of the plan when it comes to visiting with little Mouseketeers. I took a look at the Property Rules and Prohibited Items, and unfortunately, it looks like a riding board is not permitted. The prohibited list includes any trailer-like object that is pushed or pulled by an ECV, wheelchair, or stroller. I know it's confusing when you may have seen or heard mixed answers from previous Guests. Ultimately, the final word comes from the Cast Members at Security on what is allowed through. It would be best to just plan a different option to avoid possibly having to return back to your hotel or vehicle with the riding board.

Disneyland does have stroller rentals, including double strollers. They are rented on a first-come, first-served basis and need to be returned each day. There is also a Disney Featured Partner, ScooterBug. They rent out double strollers that are within the size limits for Disneyland Resort as well. The great thing about this is that you can rent it for the duration of your stay, and it will be dropped off and picked up at your hotel or specified location.

Angela, there's so much magic waiting for you and your family! I hope your visit is full of magical memories!

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
