    We are bringing our children and their families to Disneyworld over Thanksgiving 2012. We will be staying at the new Art of Animation Resort. Our grandchildren love the sandy beaches. Can you visit the resorts that have beaches?

    Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

    Yes, you are welcome to visit other Walt Disney World Resort hotels and have a look around, maybe dine there and certainly enjoy the beaches.  I love to visit the other resorts!  Please remember that while you can make use of the beach, you are not permitted to swim from the beach, and also the resort pools are only for the use of the guests who are staying at that resort.

    If you are planning to visit the water parks - Disney's Typhoon Lagoon, or Disney's Blizzard Beach - they both have large beach areas for guests to enjoy.
