We are bringing our children to Disney world for their first time in April 2016. We have dinner reservations for Coral Reef at 4:05 on our fist day and fast passes at MK starting at 5:10-6:10. Is this enough time for transportation between the two?

    Hi Michael,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. How exciting to be getting so close to your children's first trip to Walt Disney World!

I think that your timeline is too tight to truly enjoy your evening. Coral Reef Restaurant is a great place to dine. Being able to see into such a massive aquarium while you are dining is amazing! I would allow yourself at least 60 minutes to dine at this restaurant. Even if you finish dining in an hour, you would still need to walk to the front of Epcot, catch a monorail to the Transportation and Ticket Center, and then transfer to another monorail or ferry boat to get to Magic Kingdom. From the time you walk out of Coral Reef Restaurant to the time you are at the gates of Magic Kingdom, I would again allow about an hour. This would put you at the gates of Magic Kingdom when your first Disney FastPass+ selection window is closing.

I do have a couple of thoughts for you. First, you could move your first Disney FastPass+ selection at Magic Kingdom to a later time. You can modify your Disney FastPass+ selections in your My Disney Experience account. Another option would be to move your Disney FastPass+ selections to Epcot for the evening so that you do not have to hurry to get to another theme park.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Michael. Have a great time planning your vacation, and please do let us know if you have any further questions.
