Hello!! We are bringing our children (who are 18 and 22 :) to Disney for the Holiday season, Nov 28-Dec 2. I am not exactly for sure what MVMCP is and how it works. If we are in Magic Kingdom that day, are we required to leave if we didn't buy tickets?

    Hello Deanna!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I hope you are having a glorious time planning your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort are extra magical and a wonderful way to spend time with your children--no matter how old they are.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a special event full of festive entertainment, spectacular fireworks and even a Christmastime Parade with a special appearance from Santa. The smell of fresh baked cookies and hot cocoa fill the air and snow even falls on Main Street, U.S.A. It's a truly splendid event. Guests who are visiting Magic Kingdom and have not purchased the separate admission ticket for this event will be required to leave the park once the party starts at 7PM. If you are not staying for the festivities, I recommend visiting the nearby "monorail resorts" to check out their holiday decorations and gingerbread displays. They are incredible!

Enjoy the rest of your holiday planning and have a wonderful vacation. If there is anything else I am able to assist you with, please let me know.

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm Lauren, a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family and friends. From graduations to birthdays, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon we’ve loved celebrating at the most Magical Place on Earth. I now have pre-teens who check wait times in the My Disney Experience App just for fun, so I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help you plan a little extra Pixie Dust for your next magical adventure.
