We are bringing 3 children, ages 10, 6, and 4. Should we rent a stroller for the 4 year old right away or wait until he's tired? Also, would the stroller be most useful for carrying our jackets/ponchos, umbrellas, etc. or should we bring back packs?

    Hi Imelda,

I always advise parents to bring their own strollers to the parks.  It saves a lot of money, and your kids will be much more comfortable.  If you do decide to rent a stroller at Disney I suggest you rent a double stroller.  It's more comfortable, and chances are that your 6 year old will be tired at about the same time as your 4 year old.  A double stroller also guarantees that they'll have a seat for when they want to eat snacks,  watch a parade, or catch the inevitable nap.

When my family and I go to the parks I usually carry a tote bag and my husband carries the backpack.  This is regardless of whether or not we have the stroller.  When we go on a ride we NEVER leave anything in the stroller.  Disney is not responsible for items left in strollers.

I hope this helps.  Have a wonderful time on your vacation!
