If we are bringing a child that is not ours does the form that we have parent sign need to be notarized?

Welcome to planDisney Denise!  I am glad that you sailed by with your question.

The Authorization for Minor to Travel without a Parent or Legal Guardian form will need to be completed and brought to the port with you but does not need to be notarized.  Also, make sure to bring the child's citizenship documentation, such as a US Passport.  If you are going on a closed-looped sailing (your cruise itinerary begins and ends at the same US port), an original or copy of his or her state-issued birth certificate is also sufficient.  If the child is at least 16 years old, he or she will also need a government-issued photo ID in addition to citizenship documentation.

Denise, planning a vacation onboard Disney Cruise Line with family and friends is a special time.  There is something for Guests of all ages.  From the adult-exclusive restaurants to the Youth Clubs, there will be daily activities listed in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app that you can all enjoy.

If you have any other questions, sail back to planDisney for answers.  We are here to help!

    Adventure is out there!
