We are bringing our boys to Disney for the first time. Our plans were 1 day Magic Kingdom, one day universal studios, one day at Animal Kingdom and one day at blizzard beach. Would you get a three day pass with the water park or do you need 4? Help!

    Hi, Andrea!

I’m happy to hear that you’re planning your sons’ very first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. There are sure to be so many magical memories in store for your family on this special trip!

It sounds like you want to enjoy three full days at Walt Disney World Theme Parks and one full day at Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park. You could purchase a 4-Day Theme Park Ticket plus the Water Park Fun & More Option, which will allow each of you four visits to Disney’s Blizzard Beach or Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water parks, DisneyQuest Indoor Interactive Theme Park, ESPN’s Wide World of Sports Complex, Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course, or two miniature golf courses throughout your stay. That means you can visit a theme park and a water park (or one of the other extra options) on the same day, or you can visit the theme parks exclusively for the first few days and a combination of the water parks and other destinations on your last day. You also have the option of purchasing a 3-Day Theme Park Ticket and a 1-Day Water Park Ticket for everyone in your family.

The second option is slightly less expensive, but the first option may be a better value for your family because it gives you more flexibility. If you decide to visit one of the water parks for a partial day after exploring a theme park, you’d be able to. Or, if you decide you want to spend some more time at one of the three theme parks you mentioned (or at Epcot) on your fourth day instead of going to the water park, you'd have that choice as well. Visit the Walt Disney World Resort website or call (407) 939-7211 for more information about ticket options and pricing.

I hope this helps, Andrea. Please let me know if you have any other questions as you continue to plan your pixie-dusted vacation!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
