Bringing a bookbag to the park. Can I take it on rides? I understand there are lockers but every time I need something I don’t want to keep walking back to the locker especially for my poncho if/when it rains.

    Hi Tina!

I completely understand!  I can't ever think of a time that I rented a locker while on vacation at Walt Disney World.  In fact, I think the only Disney park I have ever used a locker at was in Shanghai Disney Resort when it was really warm during the day and freezing at night last year, so we stuffed our heavy jackets in the locker until it got dark.

Lockers are not needed as you can bring all of your stuff with you on any attraction.  We carry a backpack now that we are stroller-free and it's usually full.  We like to bring our own snacks and some drinks in with us to save a little money as well.  We just shove our backpack down by our feet or let it sit in our laps depending on the ride vehicle.  This has never been a problem and you will see everyone else doing just the same.  The only lockers at the parks are at the front entrance, so it's not really feasible to expect guests to trek back and forth if they need something.  I do know that there are other theme parks nearby that make you put all of your stuff in a locker for most of their rides, but that's not the case here at Walt Disney World.

Please stop back by if you have any additional questions.

    Have a magical day!
