We will be bringing our b\g twins that will be 2 1/2 when we arrive. It says ages 3 and up for the meal package do they eat off our plates or should we purchase the meal plan or how does this work?

Hi, Tina! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

When using the Disney Dining Plan, children under three are able to eat from the plates of the adults they are dining with. You receive a generous amount of food at meals with the Disney Dining Plan, and I have found there is more than enough to share with the little ones. However, if you would like to purchase a meal for them you are able to do so for the price shown on the restaurant menus. When my son was one-year old he was a very picky eater and I was worried that he wouldn’t eat what I had ordered. I brought snacks and toddler meals into the parks that he was able to eat while we were dining. If you do not want to pack food, you can order from an off-site grocery delivery service located in the area. You are able to order your groceries before you arrive and the service will deliver them to your resort on your day of arrival. There are several services to choose from, however my family uses Garden Grocer and have been very pleased.

    Have a magical vacation, Tina!

Meet the Panelist: Rachel, Wisconsin

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
