However, since we are just regular Guests ourselves, we aren't privy to the kind of information like when will the Disney Dining Plan return to us.
The good news, Janette, is that we do know that it will eventually return. The
Disney Parks Blog released an article saying that they've heard the outcry of love and support for the Disney Dining Plan and that they do plan on it making a comeback eventually. That was the last update that we've had and at that time there weren't ready to give us any timeframe on when we might be able to add it on to Disney vacation packages once again.
Until it comes back, something I've been doing is picking up
Disney Gift Cards to use on dining here and there. I like to add one to my grocery cart occasionally. It doesn't add a lot to my bill but I am always amazed at how quickly they can add up. They are similar to the Disney Dining Plan in the sense that it is paid for ahead of time and has to be used for something at
Walt Disney World. It's just a nice way of budgeting a little extra aside.
