Bringing our baby daughter to WDW for her first ever visit would appreciate some advice on which are the best character experiences to take her to .? She will be almost 1 year old We have access to fast passes 60 days in advance

    Hello Mark!

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I remember all my trips with my girls when they were babies. I love every picture with them and the Disney Characters - including the smiles and the screams! Each of my 5 daughters reacted differently, so I would start slowly.

Some of my girls preferred the fur characters (like Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Donald Duck, etc.) and others preferred the face characters like the Disney Princesses. I suggest trying both. Also, if there's a character your daughter has seen on TV or in the movies, then I would also start with that one, because she's more likely to interact with a character she's familiar with.

Using some of your FastPass+ selections to meet different characters is a great idea! I suggest meeting Mickey Mouse at Town Square Theater. All of my children loved meeting him! The pure joy in their faces still makes me smile. Who can resist everyone's favorite pal? I also suggest Princess Fairytale Hall in Magic Kingdom Park. You can meet two princesses with one FastPass+ selection.

If your daughter likes music, something my little ones love is the Disney Junior - Live on Stage show at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Enchanting puppets of different Disney Junior shows appear on stage like Mickey, Minnie, and friends, Sofia the First, Doc McStuffins, and Jake and the Never Land Pirates. Then you can meet some of them after the show in the Animation Courtyard.

I hope this helps! If you have any other questions, please come back and see us real soon. Have a magical vacation!
