We are bringing our "almost" 3 year old to Disney in March. Please suggest dining options (charachter and non-character) that are suitable for active toddlers? Something with some entertainment geared toward preschoolers? Reservations now?

Hi Jill - I'd definitely recommend booking your reservations, especially for character meals, as soon as possible.  They do book up - some 180 days in advance.

When my little guy was three, his two favorite character dining experiences were the Disney Junior Play n Dine at the Hollywood and Vine (at Disney's Hollywood Studios) and the Crystal Palace (at the Magic Kingdom).  He just loves the characters from Winnie the Pooh, so that's one venue we can never skip.

For non-character meals, I'd suggest the Rainforest Cafe (either at Animal Kingdom or Downtown Disney) or T-Rex at Downtown Disney.  Both are really appealing to little ones.

Of course, almost every place at Walt Disney World (with the exception of Victoria and Alberts) is kid friendly in some way.

    Have a great vacation!
