Hello there, Carrie!
Thanks for sailing over with your question!
I'm glad that you're aware of the
prohibited and restricted items for Disney Cruise Line sailings. Being prepared will make your embarkation day go so much smoother!
The current
alcohol policy is each guest who is 21 years and older can bring a maximum of 2 bottles (no larger than 750 ml) of unopened wine or champagne, or 6 beers (no larger than 12 ounces) in their carry-on luggage on embarkation day and at each port of call. So yes, you and your husband are both welcome to bring your own choice that fits in that allowance. Just be ready to carry it with you until your stateroom is ready!
It's important to know that any alcohol you bring cannot be consumed in public areas or lounges on the ship. You can enjoy your own wine sparkling wine in the dining rooms, but you'll need to pay a corking fee. Any liquors, spirits, or wine and beer beyond the per-person limit you purchase in ports of call will be stored until the end of your cruise.
There are plenty of fun things to drink (and eat) on your cruise, too! Keep an eye out for the Drink of the Day around the pool deck, and definitely check out the
unique lounges. I love the theming of those intimate spaces!
Cheers, Carrie! I hope you and your husband have a fabulous cruise!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
