Ahoy there, Peyton!
Welcome aboard planDisney! Planning ahead like this is how you set the stage for a great cruise, and I’m glad you’re asking now instead of at the port. Let’s walk through this together and keep everything on course!
In most cases, nicotine or tobacco products are permitted on Disney’s ships. The biggest thing to keep in mind is that whatever product you bring
must not contain any illicit substances beyond nicotine or tobacco. That’s an important distinction, as anything outside of that can cause issues during the boarding process. If you’re using a non-inhaled product, please be sure to dispose of it properly. For inhaled products, Disney asks that they only be used in
the ship’s designated smoking areas.
One important exception to know about is
the Disney Adventure, which will be sailing from Singapore. Due to local laws, imitation tobacco products (like electronic cigarettes) and chewing tobacco products are not permitted on that ship at all, so those would need to stay home if you ever decide to try that itinerary. This was new to me as well, but Singapore also doesn’t allow chewing gum. Turns out that’s one thing you definitely won’t be bringing along for the ride. I’m going to have to make sure I take gum off of my
packing list when we decide to make that journey to Singapore.
I hope this helps as you
get everything lined up before sailing away! Planning ahead like this keeps embarkation day feeling calm, organized, and ready for adventure. With the details squared away, you’ll be free to focus on the fun once you step onboard.
Sea ya real soon as the adventure continues into a bright new year,
Dustin
