Hi there, Judith!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am sure you are getting super excited for your upcoming Disney Dream vacation!
Don’t you just love the fact that Disney Cruise Line allows Guests 21 years and older to
bring on their own beer or wine?!? I find this to be a huge perk of traveling on Disney Cruise Line! Add that with the nonstop entertainment and activity schedule and you have a great vacation at sea! If you do bring on your own wine (corked or noncorked) and choose to bring the bottle with you to the main dining room to have with your dinner, you will be charged a corking fee. If you open and pour yourself a glass in your stateroom you are not required to pay any corking fees, so we like to have a glass of wine in our stateroom before dinner! Disney Cruise Line also has
wine packages for the duration of your sailing which we have found to be very economical at times, especially if we do not have time to stop to purchase before embarkation! These can be pre-purchased prior to your sailing or once onboard at the main dining room from your server. Another nice thing about this option is that if you do not finish your wine with dinner, they will either cork it and bring it out the following night or you can take it with you to finish and enjoy in your stateroom after dinner service is over.
Please feel free to come back with any other questions you may have as your planning continues! Before you know it, you will be headed to sea with Captain Mickey for fun in the sun!!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
