Hey there, Randy. Thanks for stopping by
planDisney with your question.
Your trip to the
Most Magical Place On Earth will be here before you know it. I bet you are getting so excited. Randy, you'll be happy to know that you are more than welcome to bring in outside food and beverages to the
Walt Disney World Theme Parks. When packing there are a few things to keep in mind. There is no outside alcohol permitted at any of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. Also, glass bottles and containers are prohibited so it's best to pack things in zip-top bags or plastic containers if you have them. If you need to keep items cold, you'll need to pack a reusable freezer back as loose ice is no longer allowed either. Other than those few things, you are pretty much free to pack whatever you'd like. Keep in mind you won't have access to microwaves to heat anything up so items that can be consumed cold or at room temperature are ideal. One item I would leave at home is bottled water. You can actually get free cups of ice water at all quick-service dining locations. You just walk up and ask for it and a Cast Member is more than happy to provide you with one. On hot days, especially, they will have the cups of ice water premade and readily available to Guests. I've switched to this instead of bringing water because that can make a backpack pretty heavy at the start of the day.
I enjoy packing snacks and drinks while I am at the Walt Disney World Theme Parks too, Randy. It's nice to have a little something on hand for those long wait times or when hunger strikes. One snack at
Magic Kingdom Park that I don't recommend skipping is the cheeseburger spring rolls. You can find the spring roll cart at the entrance of Adventureland and they are so, so good! It's a must-have item when I'm there - non-negotiable.
I hope this helps, Randy. If you have any other questions, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm happy to help!
Enjoy!
Jackie H.
