Hello Louis!
Welcome aboard! Packing wisely for a Disney Cruise is definitely a skill, I'll be happy to help you plan!
Some items are restricted or prohibited on Disney Cruise Line ships so it's good to double-check the website to make sure you don't have any surprises on embarkation day! You can bring non-perishable snack foods and drinks sealed in their original containers in your carry-on luggage, including bottled water. I'd recommend choosing a carry-on bag no larger than 9" x 14" x 22" to make sure it easily fits in the security scanner. Remember that your stateroom won't be ready as soon as you board so you might end up carrying your water with you for a while.
If you decide not to carry water onboard, there are a couple of ways to purchase it. First, you can order it in advance from
Onboard Gifts to be delivered to your stateroom. You can also often purchase bottled water (in an adorable cooler bag) on the ship near the pool or just off the ship if you're visiting
Disney Castaway Cay.While disposable bottles can be convenient, I also like having a refillable bottle with me when I sail. The drink station on the pool deck is an easy spot to find your favorite drink and keep your cup full! I've also been known to buy a cute travel cup...or two...on vacation. So if you forget to pack one you can always go shopping!
Happy sailing, Louis! I hope your cruise is full of blue skies and sparkling seas!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
