    1. Can you bring in water bottles or reuseable water containers and are there water filling stations? 2. Can you bring in snacks? 3. Are fanny packs or back packs allowed on the Disney rides?

Howdy, Jennifer. Welcome to planDisney! I can tell you’re a planner! I love it. Let’s dive into these awesome questions.

First of all, yes, you can bring reusable water bottles into the Disneyland Resort. I strongly recommend doing so, especially if you’re visiting during those dry summer months. There are water bottle filling stations throughout the park, and there is a clever way to find them. Open the Disneyland Mobile App and press the search icon along the bottom ribbon. Search “Bottle-Filling Stations” and then press the “Find on Map” button that presents itself. The map will show you where all of the filling stations are, and you can locate the one closest to you and fill up!

You are allowed to bring your own snacks, but I’d like to suggest that you plan to partake in some of the excellent snacks and treats the parks have to offer. Disneyland is pretty well known for the wide variety of excellent bites. The magic of a Disneyland churro simply cannot be adequately described using the English language. Don’t miss it. Some of my other favorites are the Cheesy Garlic Pretzel Bread from Maurice’s Treats, Churro Toffee, Asada Fries from Award Wieners, Dole Whip, Warm Cookies from Harbour Galley, and Nuttles from Candy Palace. As you can see, there is no shortage of magical munchies.

Lastly, backpacks and fanny packs are allowed on rides. Just be sure that your backpack adheres to the park rules, which state that “…backpacks, with or without wheels, larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high (61 cm x 38 cm x 46 cm) are not allowed…”  Some rides might be a little tight, so if your backpack is getting close to those size limits, check with the friendly cast member at the front of the ride on how to proceed.

Jennifer, you should be all set! I hope this trip is jam-packed with magical memories. As I said earlier, you seem like a planner, and you probably like to be in the know. Check out the Disney Parks Blog as you get closer to your arrival date. You can find all the latest park news, Foodie Guides for featured dishes and desserts, and merch merch merch! If you have any other planning questions, don’t hesitate to bring them back to us at planDisney. I hope you have the absolute best time ever!

    Have a magical day.
