Can we bring water bottles or container into Disney world?

Hi Teresa! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

You are only THREE days away from your vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort, and I bet you are excited that your trip is about to begin! Now is an excellent time to start planning what you will take with you into the theme parks each day.

When visiting the theme parks, you are welcome to bring in your own water bottles, food, and beverages as long as you follow the Park Rules. You will want to avoid bringing in glass containers (except for small ones like baby food jars), alcoholic beverages, loose ice (ice packs or ice contained inside a water bottle or in zipped bags is fine), and any bags or coolers larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high. Since all bags must go through a security check, I try to place any food items in clear containers, so the Cast Members can see what is inside more easily. It helps speed the process up a little!

Once your water bottle needs to be refilled, you can ask for complimentary cups of ice water at most Quick-Service dining locations. There are also water fountains throughout the theme parks, but the cups of ice water are much more refreshing in my opinion!

I hope this helps, Teresa! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
