Hey there MaryEllen,
Welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for your question!
Great news: yes, you can absolutely bring a water bottle into the Disneyland Resort! This is actually one of my favorite money-saving tips to pass along to guests, especially for those visiting during the warmer months. Staying hydrated in the parks is so important, and having a reusable water bottle along for the day can really make a difference.
You're welcome to bring in a sealed, factory-capped water bottle or a reusable bottle as long as it meets the
general park guidelines. Just be sure it isn't made of glass, which is not permitted inside the parks. Hard-sided coolers are also not allowed, but a soft-sided insulated bag or small cooler is fine if you want to keep drinks extra cold.
There are also water
bottle filling stations inside the parks, so you'll never be far from a refill. These are hugely helpful and makes it easier to not rely on having to buy water bottles to stay hydrated during your visit.
If you do want to pick up a water bottle once you're at the Resort, there are plenty of fun Disney-themed options available at various merchandise locations throughout both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure. They make a great souvenir that you'll keep using long after the trip is over.
Thanks so much for stopping by, MaryEllen! I hope you have an incredible time at the Happiest Place on Earth.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
