Howdy, Dave, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It’s great to have you here, and I’m thrilled to help you plan your upcoming visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
Yes, you are more than welcome to bring a water bottle into the
Disneyland Resort, so long as it isn’t made of glass. Also, no alcoholic beverages may be brought into either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park. No loose ice is allowed into the theme parks either, so I’d recommend using a re-usable ice pack if you do wish to keep your water bottle cold. Coolers are allowed, so long as they don’t exceed 24” long x 15” wide x 18” high. Should you have any additional questions about what is or isn’t allowed into the parks, you can check the handy
Disneyland Resort Rules.
If you’d prefer not to carry around a water bottle all day, I’d recommend asking for a complimentary cup of ice water at any
quick-service restaurant. This is a great way to stay hydrated throughout your Disney day! In addition, you can find filtered water stations inside Disneyland Park – I recently found several in
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. My fellow panelist
Jennifer also told me about the filtered water stations on
Pirate’s Lair on Tom Sawyer Island, and inside
Galactic Grill and
Red Rose Taverne.
If you do plan on bringing a cooler into the parks, you may also want to check out the relaxed outdoor
Picnic Area, located just outside the Main Entrance of Disneyland Park. There’s also a convenient set of
rental lockers adjacent to the Picnic Area, should you prefer to store your cooler or any other items before heading back to the magic!
I hope this helps as you continue planning your Disneyland Resort vacation. Please stop by with any additional questions… I’m all EARs!
