Can I bring my walker to al the parks at Walt Disney. If so can it be a seat walker. Thanks

    Hi Beth!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. As the resident doctor on the Panel, I just had to grab your question! Rest assured, Disney wants to provide the most magical of experiences for all of its Guests, including those who need mobility assistance.

You are more than welcome to bring your walker to the Park as it is a mobility aid. You might want to consider an ECV or wheelchair rental as the days can be quite hot in August. Wheelchairs and ECVs can be rented for the day, or you can get one from a Disney Featured Providers. I’ve heard nothing but good things about Buena Vista Scooter Rentals. Also, if you have an ECV, please feel free to bring it.

To decrease your transit from the parking lots, take advantage of the Disability Parking Lots at each of the four Theme Parks. You must have a valid disability parking permit though, and standard rates apply. If you don’t have a disability parking permit, you can either be dropped off at the designated drop-off locations or ask to park at the end of the rows closest to the entrance to the Parks.

I would highly suggest you take advantage of FastPass+! This will allow you to skip the standby line at the attractions, and therefore give you a bit of rest. Talk with the Cast Members at the front of the attraction about transferring to a wheelchair during the queue. Here is a list of attractions that accommodate transfers.

Beth, if you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to come back. I hope this trip is just what the doctor ordered!
