It's great to see you here today at planDisney, Jim! I'm glad you came to us to ask this question because when you're planning a trip to Walt Disney World Resort with
little Mouseketeers, it's a great idea to think about how you're going to get around. There is so much ground to cover, and I usually walk about 10 miles a day at The Most Magical Place On Earth, which might be a lot for kiddos to handle. With that in mind, let's chat about strollers, what's allowed, and how to keep your little ones comfortable throughout the day.
Jim, according to the
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules, wagons are prohibited at the Theme Parks and Water Parks. This applies to all wagons regardless of whether they are pushed or pulled, so the rule extends to any wagon that labels itself a "stroller wagon" as well. That said, my recommendation would be to bring a stroller with you from home that your kids are used to and comfortable in. Single and double strollers are allowed as long as the stroller dimensions are not greater than 31" (79 cm) in width and 52" (132 cm). The best way to measure this before you leave home is to mark out a box with those dimensions in masking tape on your floor and roll your stroller inside. If it fits, it's good to go!
If you want to leave your stroller at home, that's also perfectly fine because
stroller rental is conveniently available at every Theme Park. You can rent single or double strollers by the day or for the length of your stay! The rented strollers cannot leave the Theme Parks, so if you think you'll need one at your Resort Hotel, you can also rent one from a Disney Featured Provider and have it delivered to you at the beginning of your trip.
I hope this answers your question, Jim, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!
