Welcome to planDisney, Jodie!
Thanks for sharing your question with us. I’ve lugged my fair share of strollers around Walt Disney World, so I know it’s important to have the right ride for your kiddos while on vacation. Let’s take a look at the rules and track down your answer.
There are two relevant items in the Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules, and unfortunately, they are in the prohibited items section of the property rules.
- Strollers that are greater than 31" (79 cm) in width and 52" (132 cm) in length. Stroller wagons are also prohibited.
- Wagons are prohibited at any theme park or water park. Wagons are prohibited at indoor venues at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
You can read the whole Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules
here.
So even if your wagon fits the size requirements and you planned to push it like a stroller, as opposed to pulling it, a wagon would still be considered a prohibited item. If you need a stroller that meets the property rules, you might consider renting a stroller, which can be found at the theme parks and Disney Springs. Information on available stroller options, stroller rental locations, and current pricing can be found
here.
Summer is going to be a great time to visit Walt Disney World.
Cook Kids’ Summer is making its return, with all sorts of special activities, shows, and returning attractions. One of the highlights of the summer, especially if you have toddlers, will be Bluey and Bingo making their Walt Disney World debut at Animal Kingdom starting May 26, 2026. I’m sure your little ones won’t want to miss that!
I hope this info helps with your vacation planning, Jodie. Pop right back if you have additional questions. Your planDisney pals are here to help!
Magical travels!
