Can you bring an unopened gallon of water on board?

Ahoy there, Bryan. Welcome to planDisney!

It looks like you have a Disney cruise vacation coming up on the horizon. Get ready to have a magical time with Captain Mickey! You’re welcome to bring an unopened gallon of water onboard. You’ll just need to make sure to have this in your carry-on luggage and not in your checked suitcase.

If you happen to need this gallon of water for a medical reason, such as a CPAP machine, I recommend that you fill out the Special Services Form and indicate that on the Medical Equipment section you’ll be using a CPAP machine. A jug of distilled water will be provided for you in your stateroom when you board the ship.

As you pack your unopened gallon of water in your carry-on bag, be sure to include other essentials as well. These include your travel document, any valuables, as well as medications in their original containers. I also like to bring along sunscreen, swimsuits and a change of clothes so we can take a dip in the pool on Embarkation Day before our stateroom is ready.

I wish you and your family a wonderful cruise! If you have more questions for us, please don’t hesitate to sail by planDisney again.

Hope to SEA ya real soon,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes or Disney Cruise Line voyages with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
