Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Linda. You and your grandson will have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort!
Children under 3 years of age do not require admission ticket; you’ll just need to pay for anyone in your party over 3 years old. Guests ages 3-9 will pay for the child admission ticket price, while there’s another price category for Guests over 10 years of age.
Your grandson is not “too little” for Disneyland Resort! I brought my children when they were little, while I carried them in a baby carrier. Of course, there weren’t a lot that they could do when they were babies. Now that they’re much older, I’m enjoying the fun experiences we share!
As a huge fan of Mickey Mouse, your grandson will enjoy Mickey’s Toon Town. There, he will be able to tour
Mickey’s House and meet the Mouse as well. My kids still make it a point to stop by Mickey’s Toon Town to explore the whimsical homes of Goofy, Donald, Mickey, Minnie, and Chip n’ Dale.
Fantasyland will also be an enjoyable place for you and your grandson. We love Dumbo the Flying Elephant, as well as Casey Jr. Circus Train and Storybook Land Canal Boats.
Head to Disney California Adventure Park and there are plenty of places for you to explore, such as "a bug's land" and Cars Land. We found ourselves spending a great deal of time at "a bug's land" and Heimlich’s Chew Chew Train is one of our “must-do” whenever we are at Disney California Adventure Park, even to this day!
I hope this information is helpful for you. I wish you and your grandson a “Fantasmic” time at the Happiest Place on Earth, Linda. Please visit us on the Panel again if you have further questions.
See you real soon,
Kiki
