Howdy Rosie!
I am super excited that you stopped by
planDisney and shared your question with us! I love chatting about food!
I have great news for you! When you and your mom get a “Rumbly in your Tumbly,” you can find a comfy place to sit, relax and enjoy your hot food from your thermos! The
Walt Disney World Resort welcomes guests that desire to bring their own food into the theme parks. The only thing that is prohibited is glass containers. There is a site that explains the “
Rules for food in the parks.” I will place a link in the above text, “Rules for food in the parks,” so you can read all the information at your leisure.
Since you want to keep your food warm or hot, I would recommend placing it in a soft insulated bag that ensures your food is at the temperature you need when it is time to enjoy your meal. You can also rent a locker so you do not have to tote your food with you throughout the parks. Then when it is time to eat, you can head back to your locker and enjoy. My family and I would always brought lots of snacks when our kiddos were younger, and renting a locker worked perfectly for our family! It allowed us to explore the parks without being weight down with snacks, jackets, extra shoes, and so much more! The “
locker rentals” are located at the entrance of each theme park. I have placed a link in the above “locker rental” text so you can scan through all the locker rental details.
There are lots of exciting things planned for 2021! Since the Walt Disney World Resort opened its doors in 1971, this year marks 50 years of “Making Dreams Come True!” To stay informed of all the festivities for this monumental year, check out the
Disney Parks Blog! I know Mickey likes to party, and I am so excited to see what he has in store for all guests during this EPIC year!
If you have any more questions while you are planning, please come back to planDisney, Rosie! We look forward to helping you with all your future questions!
See Ya Real Soon,
Tamela
