Hello there, Andrea!
I can’t imagine a better place to camp than the
Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. I don’t know of other campsites located less than 4 miles from Cinderella Castle! You can also travel to the theme parks via boat or bus, and the
amenities are perfect for any Wilderness Explorer.
Andrea, I spoke with a Cast Member, and they confirmed that portable toilets are not allowed at the campsites outside of the camper since there are air-conditioned comfort stations available to campers with restroom facilities and private showers. Besides the comfort stations, you’ll also have access to credit or debit-card-operated laundry and ice machines.
If you are looking for a convenient spot to grab a bite to eat, I recommend going to
Trail’s End Restaurant for a classic country breakfast (or Mickey Waffles) and
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue for a high-spirited musical feast in the evening. Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue will get you clapping your hands and tapping your feet with the Pioneer Hall Players dancing and singing, especially thanks to the unlimited draft beer, wine, and sangria available to Guests 21 years of age and older (proper ID required). Don't worry; soft drinks are also included if your party doesn't drink alcohol.
May the magic be with you!Melanie
