Unfortunately, the type of stool you describe will likely not be allowed in the parks. Folding chairs are on the list of
prohibited items for
Walt Disney World Resort, and a collapsible stool would likely fall into this category. You may want to look into
renting a wheelchair or scooter for your vacation--most attractions allow Guests to use these mobility devices in queues and then transfer to a ride vehicle.
You will surely be doing quite a bit of standing and walking during your days in the theme parks and
Disney Springs. I recommend bringing two pairs (at least) of comfortable walking shoes that you can switch out if one pair gets wet, moisture-wicking socks, and moleskin in case any blisters occur! There are excellent
First Aid centers in all four theme parks and at Disney Springs and the staff there are incredibly helpful with any needs that arise so you can get back to making memories!
Kelly, I also recommend sketching out an itinerary for your Disney days so you can plan to visit shows and attractions that offer an opportunity to sit for a bit at regular intervals. Some of our favorites are:
