Hi there, Helen!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your Disney Cruise is just around the corner – a few more sleeps and then you will be celebrating with Captain Mickey as you head to sea for fun and adventure! I am SO excited for you and know you must be too!
You can certainly bring a suit holder as hand luggage when you embark! I have found that pretty much anything goes as far as carry-on luggage, as long as you are not trying to bring on any
prohibited items. As long as you can carry it, go for it! Guests are permitted to enter their staterooms beginning around 1:30PM on embarkation day, so you won’t have too long before you can drop your carry-on luggage in your stateroom, freeing up your hands. For all luggage that you do plan on checking with the porters at the port, be sure to wait and attach your luggage tags when you arrive at the port to ensure they don't get lost or accidently removed.
Don’t forget to make sure you have the most recently updated
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app on your smartphone before you embark on your adventure. The app will provide you with a lot of useful information while you are onboard, including menus, schedules and deck plans. It also has a fun chat feature (complete with Disney-themed emojis) that you can use to communicate with other Guests while onboard!
Have the most magical and memorable vacation, Helen! Say hi to Captain Mickey for me!
Happy Sailing!
