Hello, Christina! We are glad you sailed our way with your question.
Disney Cruise Line has many wonderful
amenities for parents traveling with little ones. Your stateroom host can provide a bed rail and diaper disposal unit upon request. There are even a limited number of complimentary strollers available from Guest Services that can be used for the duration of your cruise. If your cruise includes a stop at
Disney Castaway Cay, complimentary beach-ready wagons are available near Scuttle’s Cove and the Pelican Point tram stop.
I’m happy to share that collapsible stroller wagons can be brought on board, but they must be collapsible and stored in your stateroom or the designated parking area. Crew Members can point you toward the public storage areas for your ship. When my son was little, we ended up not taking his stroller with us. We found the ship to be manageable without it. The hallways are somewhat narrow, especially when the housekeeping cart is out. I recommend checking your
Port Adventures to ensure they are stroller or wagon friendly. Expand the Port Adventures page's Know Before You Go section to view this information.
One thing you don’t have to worry about is keeping your Mouseketeer entertained. From deck parties, evening shows, character greetings, and
imaginative youth spaces, there’s magic for Guests of all ages. Children potty trained between the ages of 3-12 can play the day away in Disney’s Oceaneer Club and Disney’s Oceaneer Lab. Each club offers a treasure trove of fun activities. Little ones 6 months to 3 years old have their own space in the
“it’s a small world” Nursery. I suggest attending Open House hours on the first day to see these incredible spaces.
I hope this answers your question, Christina, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you prepare for your magical vacation.
SEAS the adventure!
