Hi there, Michele!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so excited to hEAR you have a spooktacular adventure at sea coming up! All Disney Cruise Line vacations are fun and exciting, but there is something about the
Halloween-themed sailings that my family just can’t get enough of! We always find ourselves seeking out itineraries that we have yet to explore and booking Halloween on the High Seas adventures year after year! Maybe it’s the trick or treating onboard…or maybe it’s just the perfect time to vacation!
In my opinion, anytime you travel with little Mouseketeers, strollers are a necessity – and yes, you can bring one onboard with you! I would advise you, though, to bring a smaller stroller as opposed to your big, bulky one. When my boys were smaller, we had two comfortable umbrella-type strollers that were dedicated for travel and they were so much easier to navigate through the hallways onboard. Underneath the bed in your
stateroom you have about 12 inches of clearance to store things, and the umbrella strollers fit perfectly under there to keep them out of the way when not in use.
I am not sure exactly which itinerary you are headed out on, but if you happen to be visiting Disney’s private island,
Castaway Cay, they do have wagons that you can borrow for the day, which is so nice when carting little ones to the beach! They are on a first come, first serve basis, so if you will want one, I recommend planning to get off the ship early on that day to get one!
Wishing you a magical and memorable adventure at sea, Michele! Say hi to Captain Mickey for me!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
