As a mom who has been sailing with Disney Cruise Line since her own stroller days, I’m very familiar with what it’s like to sail with babies and younger children. Somehow, Disney Cruise Line actually makes it enjoyable (
this is the real pixie dust, in my opinion)! I would be happy to share the stroller policy, as well as some other great information you might need if sailing with babies and younger children.
You are more than welcome to bring a stroller on board your Disney cruise! Disney Cruise Line is committed to guest safety and comfort, and therefore, a stroller for younger children and babies is, not only welcome, but recommended. What’s really convenient is that
strollers are also available to be borrowed, should you forget. However, these are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and my recommendation is not to rely on them if you know you need one for your entire trip, but to bring your own.
I’ve brought different strollers on board over the years, but I always found the smaller, more compact ones to be the best for our needs, and I suggest the same for you. Strollers of this nature allowed me to push my kids around tighter spaces such as stateroom hallways, on the pool deck where crowds can gather, in elevators, and through doorways much more easily. Plus, it was much easier to store a compact stroller in our stateroom.
Finally, while I’m not sure about the ages of the children you’re traveling with, I want to share that Disney Cruise Line has many
amenities for babies and younger children available that can all be requested before you even set sail! In the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App or on the Disney Cruise Line website, you can request
Pack ‘n Plays, bottle warmers, toddler bed rails, and a Diaper Genie for your stateroom in the "Special Requests" section. You can also request baby food to be mashed on board with your Dining Team, if needed. Plus, there’s a convenient nursery on board, adorably titled
"it's a small world" nursery!, for an additional fee, where babies and toddlers can play in a secure environment. I’ve strolled babies and toddlers to and from this awesome nursery many times!
