Hi. If I bring a souvenir popcorn bucket from Disneyland from a few years ago. Can I use it in WDW to refill? Also, what is the price of a refill vs. the price of a regular popcorn? Thanks!

    Hi Dulcelita,

Thanks for stopping back to Disney Parks Moms Panel. Each of us at Disney Parks Moms Panel is here for you and happy to help with your vacation questions.

Like many folks, I really enjoy snacking on popcorn, and I love the popcorn at Walt Disney World. When I step into Magic Kingdom, I always find myself drawn to walk to the left under the Walt Disney World Railroad
Main Street, U.S.A. station towards City Hall because I can linger long enough to catch a whiff of freshly popped snacky wonder at the popcorn cart.

Dulcelita, you can find those beautiful fresh popped corn snack carts at locations in each of the 4 theme parks. You can purchase refills of popcorn (typically $1.50) for buckets purchased at Walt Disney World, and you can purchase those refills throughout the length of your stay. The refillable souvenir popcorn buckets are typically around $10 and some specially themed popcorn buckets are sometimes offered for a bit more. Since the idea behind the refillable souvenir popcorn buckets is that they are valid for your length of stay, my suggestion is to leave your Disneyland souvenir bucket behind, and that will give you luggage room to bring home a Walt Disney World souvenir bucket to add to your collection.

Speaking of popcorn, if you visit Epcot and you're a fan of delicious caramel popcorn, be sure you make a stop at  Karamell-Küche in the Germany Pavilion at Epcot World Showcase. Talk about delicious popcorn!

    Enjoy your Disney!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
