Hi there, Peggy! Welcome aboard, planDisney!
What a DREAM of a Disney cruise you’re about to embark on! Funnily enough, I just booked a sailing on the
Disney Dream for my family yesterday, and every time I remembered that I have an upcoming sailing today, it put a smile on my face! So, thank you, Peggy, for making me smile again, which is also for you, as I'm so excited for your upcoming Mediterranean adventure!
Speaking of Mediterranean adventures, by the looks of these stunning Ports of Call, you’re in for some truly magnificent ones! I bet you’re planning plenty of
Port Adventures at all of them, and are going to have the most amazing photos to prove it! Based on your question, I bet that snorkeling is also on that list. You’ll be happy to know that snorkeling gear and face masks are not considered
Prohibited and Restricted Items on board Disney Cruise Line, and are therefore okay to bring on board.
While we're on the subject of Port Adventures and snorkeling, I also want to encourage you to read the description of any Port Adventures you might be booking, just in case snorkeling gear is provided for you.
Lastly, while snorkel gear and masks can be brought on board, it’s worth noting that
they cannot be used in the pools on board the ship, as snorkel tubes are prohibited from being used in the pools.
Peggy, I hope I was able to offer clarification. I wish you the DREAMiest memories on your Mediterranean cruise! Please sail back to planDisney if you have any more questions.
Bon Voyage,
Rana
