Hello there Kimberly, and welcome to planDisney! We're so glad you're here with your fantastic question about bringing in outside food and beverages.
Good news, you absolutely can bring in your own snacks and water to both
Disneyland Resort theme parks, and it's something we do every visit. Just in case there are longer lines to grab your favorite Disney snack, or before your
dining reservation, bringing in a few snacks to have on hand is always a great idea. A tip is to pack some plastic sandwich bags in your suitcase, and then you can use these throughout your trip to bring your snacks into the parks if you buy bigger bags of snacks at the store. We also love to grab breakfast items like granola bars to save us time in the morning!
I do want to point out Kimberly that there are some
prohibited items that you cannot bring into the theme parks, including loose or dry ice, and coolers larger than a 6-pack size. Reusable ice packs are recommended, and there are also
lockers for rent located outside of the main
Disneyland Park entrance to utilize as well.
We do always love to snack our way through both theme parks, and some of our favorite budget-friendly snacks to grab are the traditional scoops of
popcorn found at the popcorn carts throughout the parks, as well as the
Mickey Mouse Pretzels! They are classics for the whole family to enjoy, especially while waiting for a parade or
nighttime spectacular to begin.
I hope this information was helpful for your trip planning Kimberly, and please do not hesitate to come back and
ask me any other questions!
Have a magical day!
Melissa
