Can you bring snacks and water into Disneyland?

    Welcome, Alexandra!

Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney. When you're gearing up for a day of Disney magic, it's smart to plan ahead—especially when it comes to staying energized with snacks and water. You'll want to be able to make the most of every magical minute, especially with Halloween Time in full swing!

I have some good news for you. Guests are permitted to bring outside food, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages, provided they meet certain parameters. They must not be in glass containers (glass jars of baby food are the exception here, but they must be 4oz or smaller) and do not require heating, reheating, processing, or refrigeration. The rules also request that you refrain from bringing anything with a pungent odor. Security may ask to see anything that is in a concealed container, so it's recommended that you let them know of any food or drinks you have on hand when you head into the parks.

I actually highly recommend bringing your own reusable water bottle. There are plenty of bottle-refilling stations throughout both Disneyland and California Adventure to keep you hydrated throughout your day. You can also always ask for a complimentary cup of ice water at any quick-service restaurant. At mealtimes, I will often do this as well and use the ice to refill my water bottle to keep things extra cold.

The locations of the bottle refilling stations are easily found right at your fingertips in the Disneyland App. Head to the search icon and enter "Bottle Filling Stations" and tap "Find on Map". They will quickly be revealed to you so you can navigate to the nearest one!

When you're ready to eat a meal, my family loves to take advantage of the Mobile Order feature in the app as well. This allows you to order in advance, selecting a time that you plan to eat. Once your window opens up, head to the restaurant and tap "I'm Here" and your food will be ready within just a minute or two. It's a great way to maximize your time in the parks. I would recommend placing your orders a bit ahead of the lunch or dinner rush to ensure you are able to select your preferred time slot, as sometimes it can get busy and they can book up.

I'm wishing you a magical day at the Happiest Place on Earth! If you have any more questions, we are always happy to help here at planDisney.

    See ya real soon!
