Greetings, Lynda, and welcome to planDisney. Your trip is just around the corner – you must be so excited! Snack breaks will be essential, between rides, entertainment, mealtimes, and shopping.
Lynda, you are welcome to bring your own snacks into Disneyland Resort theme parks,
provided they do not need to be heated, refrigerated, or processed. Please keep in mind that glass containers and loose ice
are not allowed into the parks. I typically pack a few granola bars, applesauce pouches, fruit strips, and crackers in my backpack – that way I have easy access to snacks my kids like when they get hungry.
If you happen to need additional snacks while in the parks, some of my family's favorites include popcorn, Mickey-shaped pretzels, fresh fruit, hummus with pretzels, and trail mix. My husband says the garlic cheesy pretzel bread from
Maurice's Treats is his top snack at the Disneyland Resort, so consider trying it during your visit!
For mealtimes, it's helpful to
mobile order food from the
Disneyland mobile app. Order in advance and select a future arrival window – that way, you can avoid potential waits at mealtime. Instead, you'll head to the location when your arrival window approaches, indicate that you are there on the app, and go to the pickup window when notified.
The app is also helpful for checking wait times at various attractions, seeing when and where Characters may be meeting with Guests, viewing showtimes, and more. If your tickets are linked in the app, you can use it to scan into the park as well. It's all very convenient!
Lynda, I hope you have an amazing time visiting the Disneyland Resort. If you think of any other questions as your trip approaches, please reach out – we're always happy to help here at planDisney!
Your pal,
Kriss
