Hi Dawn! Welcome to planDisney!
You must be so excited to begin your Walt Disney World Resort vacation TODAY! By now, all your bags are probably
packed, last-minute to-do items are checked off, and all your planning over the past few weeks (or months!) is about to pay off. Yay!
I think you will be happy to know that, yes, you can bring snacks and beverages with you into all the Walt Disney World theme parks, including
Magic Kingdom Park. Not only is this a great way to stick to a budget, but it helps prevent the "hangry" meltdowns of everyone throughout the day! Bringing beverages will keep everyone hydrated and there are water fountains/water refilling stations that can be used to refill your water bottles. You can also ask for cups of complimentary ice water at
Quick-Service locations. It is extra refreshing on warm Florida days!
There are a few things you will want to
avoid when bringing in food and drinks: no alcoholic beverages, no glass containers (except for small ones like baby food jars), no loose ice (ice contained in a zipped bag or water bottle is fine), and no bags larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high. Stick to these guidelines and you should be all set!
I hope you have the best visit, Dawn! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
