Greetings, Meagan!
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. It sounds like someone is going to be celebrating a very special day while visiting the Happiest Place on Earth!
While smash cakes are unfortunately not permitted in the parks, there are SO many delightful and decadent ways to celebrate a little one's birthday with a sweet treat. If you have a Table Service reservation at any of the restaurants in the parks or Disneyland Resort Hotels, you can add a custom Celebration Cake by calling Disneyland Dining at (714) 781-3463. Apart from picking from a variety of Disney designs, there is a great selection of flavors to choose from with unique and exclusive flavors like "Churro" and "Dole Whip." I recently had a Churro-flavored Haunted Mansion themed cake ordered for a very special occasion and it is one I will never forget. Not only was it beautifully decorated, but it tasted AMAZING!
If cupcakes are more your style, you can always find an impressive selection throughout locations in both parks. I personally love the desserts at Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe or single slices of cake at Plaza Inn. In the Downtown Disney District, you can also stop by the iconic
Sprinkles for gourmet cupcakes in a variety of flavors.
If your little one is
celebrating a birthday, don't forget to stop by City Hall in Disneyland Park for a complimentary Birthday Button. This will let everyone know that birthday wishes are appreciated!
I hope this helps, and please return if you have any other questions. Have a magical day!
