Hi there, Cassie. Thanks for stopping by planDisney!
Strollers are an important part of a successful day for little ones at the
Walt Disney World Resort. I am unsure what we would have done when my kids were younger if we hadn't had one - from naps to shade, strollers are so important!
Cassie, while the SmarTrike calls itself a stroller, its structure looks very similar to a recreation device as it has a steering handle for the child and a rear-wheel brake system. Even without the pedals, it may not be allowed in the theme parks based on the
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules. I would err on the side of caution and either rent a stroller at the Resort or bring one that does not have to have pedals removed. I know this might not be what you hoped to hear, but I would hate for your SmarTrike not to be allowed. It would be an unfun way to start your trip!
Depending on your little one's age, you may want to familiarize yourself with the
Baby Care Centers in each theme park. They can be so helpful if you've forgotten anything like sunscreen or diapers. The location of these in each theme park can be found in the
My Disney Experience Mobile App by tapping the magnifying glass on the bottom of the app home screen and then typing "Baby Care Centers" into the search. Then, click "Find on Map," and you'll be ready to go!
I hope this information helps, Cassie. Please stop my planDisney with any other questions you may have!
Have a magical visit,
Melissa
