Should we bring 2 small strollers or our big double stroller? small strollers do have storage under them, didn't know what would be easier. 2 sons 2y and 4y staying in sept for 7 days. thanks!

    Hi Crystal,

I've done it both ways with regard to strollers - two singles and a double.  Here are my thoughts.  If your kids are small and light enough to be pushed in a double stroller by one adult, that works well.  Having one adult "free" to take a kid to the potty, secure a table at a counter service restaurant, run into a shop to grab a snack for everyone, etc. is great. We used a lightweight side-by-side umbrella, that was easy to fold, had reclining seats and good sized canopies.   However, my boys got big and heavy fast, and my husband and I found ourselves "picking straws" over who had stroller pushing duty.  Somehow I always managed to pass the stroller to him when any hills were approaching!  We then switched to taking two lightweight umbrellas.  Mine have canopies, baskets and can accommodate kids up to 55 lbs.

I don't think storage under the stroller is all that important, because you can easily hang bags from the handles if you need to, but it certainly doesn't hurt.  A cup holder is definitely a great addition for mom or dad, as pushing in the summer heat makes you thirsty quick!

    Have a wonderful vacation!
