Hey there, hi there, Laura! Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for stopping by with such a great question!
As a physical therapist, I know how strenuous a day walking around the theme parks and riding rollercoasters can be on the body. Keeping yourself comfortable throughout your Disney day is the key to having the BEST. DAY. EVER! So, let's chat about bringing your small massager into the theme parks.
A small, handheld massager or similar items are not on the list of prohibited items in the
Disneyland Resort Rules, so it looks like you should be good to go! Just be aware that, as always, items allowed into the Disneyland Resort theme parks and the Downtown Disney District are at the discretion of the Security Cast Members, and they do reserve the right to prohibit the use of any item that they think may be harmful or disruptive.
When you are going through security, just be prepared to explain what the massager is, in case they have any questions. I get asked questions about my portable phone charger almost every time I go through security, as they are just making sure that all Guests stay safe on their watch. And don't forget about the
First Aid locations in the theme parks! I have stopped by First Aid for some over-the-counter medication when I had a headache or felt a little motion sickness, and it really helped me continue to enjoy my day. Nurses are available for you if you need any non-emergent medical assistance.
I hope this helps, Laura, and I hope you have the most magical and memorable time at
Disneyland Resort! Please feel free to stop by any time with any questions you may have.
You've got a friend in me,
Mandy
