Hello! Can you bring a small cooler into magic kingdom to keep in the stroller with sandwiches and drinks for the kids?

    Hi Jamie!

Eeek! Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is only a couple of days away. I'm so excited for you as soon your family will be surrounded in the Power of Magic.

You can definitely bring a small, soft-sided cooler into the theme parks with you to keep food and drinks cool. As the Park Rules state, it must be smaller than 24" wide x 15" long x 18"tall.  Also, make sure there are no glass containers. We often order grocery items like small water bottles, juice boxes and granola bars or crackers and carry them into the parks with us for a quick snack on-the-go. I don't know how many times they've cured hunger or kept a melt-down to a minimum for both the kids and adults! To keep it cold I like to fill an empty water bottle or sports drink bottle (since they have larger openings) with ice at our Resort Hotel. This way the cooler doesn't turn into a soggy mess by the end of the day.

Thank you so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jamie. Have a wonderful vacation and please come see us again sometime soon.

    Magical Wishes,

Meet the Panelist: Lauren, Colorado

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm Lauren, a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family and friends. From graduations to birthdays, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon we’ve loved celebrating at the most Magical Place on Earth. I now have pre-teens who check wait times in the My Disney Experience App just for fun, so I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help you plan a little extra Pixie Dust for your next magical adventure.
